IBCCI ‘Meet & Greet’ with UAE Bunts entrepreneurs & professionals held

Dubai, Nov 29: Premnath Shetty, managing director, Heat Shield hosted 60 delegates from the Indian Bunts Chamber of Commerce and Industries (IBCCI) at a prestigious ‘Meet & Greet’ event with UAE-based Bunts entrepreneurs and professionals on November 21, on the lawns of his elegant villa at Jumeirah Park.

The gathering was a testament to the Bunts community’s enduring spirit of collaboration and innovation, with over 90 attendees comprising seasoned professionals, budding entrepreneurs, and community leaders from both India and the UAE.

About 50 Bunt industrialists and professionals had one to one interaction and discussion about the way forward and ways to fruitfully develop network and business opportunities between GCC and India.

The evening began with a heartfelt welcome speech by the event anchor, Ashwith Shetty, who ensured the programme flowed seamlessly and kept the audience engaged.

The event featured a distinguished panel of speakers who shared their insights:

• Pravin Bhoja Shetty, president of Mumbai Bunts, lauded the global outreach of the IBCCI and emphasized the importance of cross-border collaboration.
• Sarvotham Shetty, president of UAE Bunts, highlighted the success stories of the UAE Bunts and encouraged further synergy between professionals from India and the UAE.
• K C Shetty, president of IBCCI, elaborated on the chamber’s mission to make job creators and not job seekers. He emphasized the need to encourage entrepreneurship in our bunts community.
• CA Shankar Shetty, member of the IBCCI advisory committee, stressed financial and strategic planning for sustainable business growth.
• B R Shetty, a renowned businessman, shared inspiring anecdotes from his entrepreneurial journey, motivating the younger generation to aim high. He offered all help to make the chamber a grand success.
• Srinath Shetty, honorary secretary of IBCCI, mentioned the opening of the UAE chapter of IBCCI will act as a bridge between the bunts in UAE and India facilitating seamless collaboration and mutual growth. He informed the audience that Dubai can act as a global Bunts hub servicing and being a gateway to the global markets particularly the Middle East, Africa & Europe.

A special moment in the evening was the presentation of a memento to Premnath Shetty, a gesture of gratitude from K C Shetty and S B Shetty-vice president on behalf of IBCCI, acknowledging his meticulous organization and warm hospitality.

It was unanimously announced that Premnath Shetty shall be the new vice president of IBCCI – UAE chapter. The new leadership team will be announced shortly. Dr B R Shetty was nominated as the patron – advisory board member which he graciously accepted while Sarvotham Shetty was nominated as a member in the Advisory Board.

The event concluded with a vote of thanks by the host, Premnath Shetty, who expressed his appreciation for the enthusiastic participation and support of all attendees. He said this will be a great initiative and the first international chapter of the IBCCI which can encourage cross border business transactions. He further encouraged all the members who attended to become a member of the UAE chapter to make it a strong and a vibrant body which helps add value to its member.

The gathering was applauded for its success, with attendees ranging from young, energetic professionals to seasoned veterans, fostering meaningful interactions and collaborations. The IBCCI praised the event as a significant milestone in uniting the Bunts community for shared success and growth.
