Mangaluru: Bike-borne miscreants snatch gold chain from woman

Mangaluru, Dec 15: Bike-borne miscreants snatched the chain from the neck of a woman on the pretext of asking for directions, near Edapadavu gram panchayat on Saturday afternoon.

The victim, Anusuya Kajava, a resident of Edapadavu, was walking along the road when two men, wearing helmets, approached her and asked for an address.

While she was speaking with them, the pillion rider snatched a two-sovereign gold chain from her neck and fled the scene on the bike.

Bajpe police are investigating the incident further.
