Udupi: Man bitten by snake while farming succumbs in hospital

Udupi, Dec 17: A farmer who was bitten by a venomous snake succumbed to his injuries despite treatment at Gujjarabetto in Paduthonse village, Udupi.

The deceased has been identified as Sundar Poojary, a resident of Gujjarabetto.

It is reported that Sundar Poojary was engaged in agricultural activities in his plantation on Saturday evening when he was bitten by a venomous snake. He was immediately rushed to a private hospital in Manipal after his condition worsened. However, despite all efforts, he breathed his last on Monday.
