Mangaluru: Cooking gas cylinder blast at Suratkal – One more injured woman succumbs

Mangaluru, Dec 28: The two women who suffered critical injuries in a cooking gas cylinder blast at Tadambail Venkataramana Colony on December 18 have succumbed to their injuries.

Vasanti, Vamana’s wife, succumbed to her injuries on December 27.

Earlier, Pushpa, the sister of the house owner Vamana, passed away on December 26.

Both had been undergoing intensive care treatment at a private hospital since the tragic incident.

    If call comes concerned gas agencies should check the pipe & regulator and replace it with good quality pipe & original regulator.

    We can easily notice the gas leakage by smell. Than don't switch on the gas stove. Close the regulator. Open all windows & doors. Don't switch on any electric switches. Always off or close the regulator after cooking.
