Mangaluru: CODP holds trainings on govt schemes, entitlements for staff

Mangaluru, Jan 22: Under the guidance of Misereor Germany, KROSS Bengaluru organized a two-day training programme on government schemes and entitlements for the staff and Okkoota representatives of the four organizations i.e., CODP Mangaluru, SAMPADA Udupi, KIDS Puttur, and DKRDS Belthangady.

The training was held on January 22-23 at CODP's Mother Teresa Hall. Manjula John, president of the MAANINI State Federation, inaugurated the programme by lighting the lamp. Fr Vincent D'Souza, director of CODP, delivered the inaugural address.

Stanley Fernandes, coordinator of SAMPADA, Udupi and Mary Fedrick Dias, senior labor inspector of the regional labor department, served as resource persons for the training. Jacintha Crasta, staff of CODP, welcomed the gathering, Anthony Nazareth rendered the vote of thanks, and Vani Poojari compered the programme.
