Mangalore, Jan 9: It is learnt that deputy secretary in the state education department, K Rahamat Ulla, has, through an order, permitted closure of government, private aided, and private colleges in Dakshina Kannada district for the period from January 12 to 16, to enable the students to actively take part in the National Youth Festival being held in the city during this period.
At the same time, the university has been asked to adjust its time table to ensure that the students do not lose the study curriculum because of the above holidays.
