Dubai, Feb 10: The countdown has begun for the prestigious "International Gandhadagudi Awards", set to take place on February 16 at the Millennium Plaza Hotel on Sheikh Zayed Road in Dubai. This highly anticipated event will honour individuals who have made significant contributions in the fields of art, sports, cinema, and culture. A grand pre-launch event for the awards was successfully held on February 7 at the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel in Dubai. The event witnessed the presence of several distinguished dignitaries from Karnataka, including Dubai Police Major Omar Al Marzooqi, who served as the chief guest.

Karnataka’s chief minister Siddaramaiah participated in the event virtually, sharing his support for the upcoming awards ceremony.

Organised by Overseas Entertainment LLC in collaboration with Tryesta Properties and under the auspices of GKD Investment Group, the event aims to recognise and honour those who have made an indelible mark on the world.

In addition to the announcement of the award nominees, the pre-launch event also featured the unveiling of the official logo of the International Gandhadagudi Awards, marking a significant milestone in the event’s journey.

A spectacular cultural programme is scheduled for the awards night, with a live musical performance by renowned Carnatic musician V Harikrishna, complemented by a series of captivating dance performances. The ceremony will also feature the esteemed presence of the Mysore royal family, along with ministers, MPs, and other distinguished guests.

As a special announcement, the event will be open to all attendees free of charge, with Overseas Entertainment owner Peter Joyson encouraging everyone to join in this grand celebration of talent and achievement.
