Bantwal, Feb 10: A dramatic crash left two people injured on Sunday, February 9, at Kavalakatte, near the petrol bunk on the Bantwal-Belthangady National Highway.
A Kwid car, heading from Bantwal, collided head-on with an Innova while turning into the petrol bunk. The powerful impact sent the Kwid rolling over, injuring a woman and a young man from the Gerukatte family.
Both the injured persons were rushed to a hospital in Mangaluru for treatment.
The shocking scene, captured on CCTV, is quickly spreading on social media. Despite the chaos, the Punjalakatte police have yet to file a formal report on the incident.
