Bantwal: Fire due to cooking gas cylinder leak – Property destroyed, one injured

Bantwal, Feb 11: A fire broke out due to a cooking gas cylinder leak at a house in Subhash Nagar, Sajipa Mooda village, resulting in extensive property damage and injuring one person.

The fire erupted at the residence of Ganesh, who sustained injuries to his hand while trying to extinguish the flames.

The Bantwal fire brigade later arrived at the spot and brought the fire under control. The gas geyser and refrigerator in the house were completely destroyed.

The estimated loss is around Rs 75,000.
