Mangaluru: Bike collides with divider; rider succumbs to injuries

Mangaluru, Feb 14: A bike rider who was critically injured after colliding with a road divider succumbed to his injuries while undergoing treatment.

The deceased has been identified as Roshan Moras (34), a resident of Nalengi in Vorkady village. Roshan, an electrician by profession, was returning home after attending an event when his bike crashed into a divider, causing severe head injuries. Locals immediately rushed him to First Neuro Hospital in Padil, Mangaluru. Later, he was shifted to Wenlock Hospital, where he passed away on Thursday evening without responding to treatment.

Roshan was the second son of Andri D’Souza and Lilly. He had been married for just four years and is survived by his wife and a five-month-old daughter, along with a large circle of relatives.

The final rites will be held on Friday. A case has been registered at the south traffic police station.

    Hi Absolutely sad news. RIP Roshan! Social consequences of a bread winner can't be measured. Why can't Road dividers be provided with Reflectors ? Most of road dividers don't have proper light reflectors, making night driving very risky.
