Mangaluru: Car falls into trench near Netravati river, all occupants safe

Mangaluru, Mar 17: A car carrying five youths veered off the road and plunged 15 feet into a trench near Netravati river close to Thokkottu.

The accident occurred when the car, traveling from Talapady towards Mangaluru, lost control near a culvert on the national highway and fell into the roadside trench.

Fortunately, all five occupants sustained only minor injuries.

Mangaluru south traffic police have registered a case and are investigating the incident.
