Bantwal: Gang threatens woman staff, loots dress shop in Vittal

Bantwal, Mar 19: A gang of three, led by Naveen Kumpala, allegedly barged into a dress shop near Vittal School Road, threatened a lone female staff member, and looted clothes and other items before fleeing the scene.

The incident took place on the afternoon of March 18. The gang of four entered the shop unlawfully and started stuffing clothes and other goods into their bags. When the female staff questioned their actions, the accused allegedly threatened her, saying, “Mind your own business. Do not interfere with us.”

They then forcibly took the clothes and other items before escaping.

A complaint has been lodged at the Vittal police station, and an investigation is underway.
