Panaji, Mar 20: Goa Chief Minister Pramod Sawant has stated that central government-backed projects will play a crucial role in modernizing the state’s ports and enhancing hinterland tourism, paving the way for economic growth and employment opportunities.

Speaking at a recent event, the Chief Minister highlighted the importance of infrastructure development in improving connectivity and attracting tourists beyond the coastal belt. He emphasized that initiatives such as port expansion, improved waterways, and eco-tourism projects would create new avenues for sustainable tourism while strengthening Goa’s maritime sector.
