MITK’s IQAC division partners with NGO, ‘The concerned for working children’

Kundapur, Mar 26: MIT Kundapur's IQAC has initiated collaboration with the NGO ‘The concerned for working children’ based in Kundapur by signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU).

According to the agreement, the college will provide a platform for its students to work with the NGO in gram panchayats and other related sectors to establish a safe and informed community of children through various awareness programmes.

An orientation programme was held at MIT Kundapur on March 25, where the students were addressed and briefed on the action plan. The director of field programmes, Srinivasa Ganiga, emphasized the importance of social responsibility among students. He highlighted how their innovative ideas and immense potential could be effectively used for the betterment of children from the working class.

The assistant director of field programmes, Kripa M M, engaged students in intellectual sessions and encouraged them to create potential avenues to support underprivileged children.

Dr Nikhila Pai, the head of IQAC, was also present at the event and extended her support to this meaningful initiative.
