Jaipur, Apr 1: A tragic gas leak incident at a factory in Rajasthan has resulted in the death of the factory owner and the hospitalization of 40 others. The incident occurred in the early hours of the morning at a chemical factory in the industrial area of Pali district.

According to local authorities, a gas leak from one of the factory's storage tanks caused a hazardous chemical spill that led to widespread inhalation of toxic fumes. The owner of the factory, who was reportedly present on-site at the time of the incident, succumbed to the effects of the leak.

Around 40 individuals, including workers and nearby residents, were rushed to the hospital after experiencing symptoms such as dizziness, nausea, and difficulty breathing. Emergency teams and local authorities have been working to contain the situation and mitigate further risks to the community.

The factory has been temporarily shut down, and investigations are underway to determine the cause of the gas leak. Local authorities have assured that they are taking all necessary steps to ensure the safety of the surrounding area.

"This is a devastating incident, and we are doing everything we can to assist those affected," said a spokesperson from the local government. "The situation is under control, and we are focusing on providing medical care to the victims."

Authorities are also investigating whether the factory adhered to safety protocols and regulations in handling hazardous materials. The tragedy has raised concerns about the safety measures in place at industrial facilities in the region.
