Sullia, Apr 12: In connection with a recent stunt performed on a moving car, the Sullia police have tracked down and questioned a group of youths involved in the reckless act.

A few days ago, a video had gone viral showing six out of seven individuals in a speeding car engaging in a dangerous stunt on the Sampaje–Sullia highway. The vehicle’s roof was open, and two youths were seen standing through it, while two others emerged from the rear left and right doors, and another two stood from the front doors, all performing risky manoeuvres as the car was in motion.

Taking serious note of the incident, Sullia police registered a suo motu case and launched an investigation. The individuals were found to be residents of Bhatkal in Uttara Kannada district. The group was reportedly travelling from Madikeri to Bhatkal when they committed the offence.

The driver of the car was identified as Sajil, and the others involved in the stunt were Atif, Suman, Jayesh (who was not seen), Sajib, Sahibz, and Hasan. All of them were located and brought to the police station for questioning.
