Udupi, Apr 15: The valedictory ceremony of 'Kalaa Kaushalya 2025', summer art camp, a 8-day art camp organized for children, nurturing the talent, enhancing skills and celebrating the joy of art, was held at the premises of Kalaa Tapas School of Music Indrali on April 13.
Dr Shobha Kamath chairperson MAHE cultural committee, addressing the gathering, said, “The Kalaa Kaushalya 2025 summer art camp, organized with the objective of nurturing the talent, enhancing skills, and celebrating the joy of art, was unique in many ways. The fact that children were deeply engaged in various art forms without being distracted by gadgets like mobile phones highlights the true importance of art. A key aspect of learning is understanding what should not be done and consciously avoiding it. When modern technology is used in moderation and art and culture are embraced as a way of life, it helps shape an extraordinary personality. In this regard, Kalaa Kaushalya 2025 has provided children with a wonderful opportunity and has achieved remarkable success, which is a matter of pride," said Dr Shobha Kamath, chairperson of the MAHE Manipal cultural committee.”
