Bengaluru, May 10: Appreciating India’s strong counter-terror operation following the Pahalgam massacre, Kannada film star Kiccha Sudeep has written a heartfelt letter to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, expressing admiration for Operation Sindoor and praising the Indian armed forces for their precision and courage.
The actor began his letter by thanking the Prime Minister for his condolence message following the demise of his mother. “I thank you for your kind words of condolence on the passing of my mother. Today, I write not only as a grateful son but also as a proud Indian,” Sudeep wrote.

Expressing his support for Operation Sindoor, the actor noted that the mission was not just a response but a powerful message to the world. “My appreciation for the success of Operation Sindoor goes beyond words. It was not merely a retaliation, but a bold and decisive message to the world,” he added.
Sudeep also stated, “India neither retreats, nor forgets and it always rises. We are witnessing a leader who does not merely guide through words, but through firm determination.”
The actor underlined that the entire Kannada film industry stands firmly with Prime Minister Modi during these tense times. “Every Kannadiga and the entire Kannada film fraternity stands firmly with you. We draw inspiration from your courage,” he wrote.
Acknowledging the efforts of the Indian defence forces, Sudeep praised their unmatched precision, discipline, and bravery under the Prime Minister’s leadership. “Under your leadership, our defence forces have shown extraordinary accuracy, discipline, and valour. Their success is our pride,” he said.
He concluded the letter by emphasising the unity and patriotism of the people, stating, “We are all one, with one voice, standing united as one nation.”
The letter comes at a time when tensions have escalated between India and Pakistan, following India's launch of Operation Sindoor in retaliation to the gruesome terrorist attack in Pahalgam, where 26 civilians were killed. The operation targeted terror camps across Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir, significantly escalating the standoff between the two nuclear-armed neighbours.
Sudeep’s words reflect a larger wave of public support pouring in for the Indian armed forces and the government's firm stance against terrorism.
