Mangaluru, May 11: The prestigious St Aloysius (Deemed to be University), Mangaluru, with a legacy of 145 years, is set to embark on a new academic trajectory by adding professional rigor to its offerings from the academic year 2025–26. The University has received approval from the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi, to start the following engineering programmes:

1. B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering

2. B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering (Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning)

3. B.Tech in Information Science and Engineering

4. B.Tech in Electronics and Communication Engineering

School of Engineering: A New Milestone in St Aloysius University's Journey

St Aloysius (Deemed to be University), Mangaluru, has announced the launch of four full-time B.Tech programmes approved by AICTE under its newly established School of Engineering from the academic year 2025–26:

1. B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering

2. B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering (Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning)

3. B.Tech in Information Science and Engineering

4. B.Tech in Electronics and Communication Engineering

These programmes will be offered at the main campus at Light House Hill, Mangaluru — a centrally located academic hub known for its serene and inspiring atmosphere. A new seven-storey engineering building with hi-tech laboratories, smart classrooms, innovation and research centres, and collaborative learning spaces is nearing completion to support this expansion.

About the School of Engineering

The School of Engineering at St Aloysius (Deemed to be University) offers four undergraduate programmes designed to equip students with both theoretical foundations and practical skills. Faculty members are engaged in research across areas such as computer networks, deep learning, artificial intelligence, cloud computing, natural language processing, and image processing.
