Mangaluru, May 29: The capacity building programme on stress management was conducted for the teachers of Lourdes Central School on May 28, from 8:30 am to 4 pm. The programme commenced with a soulful prayer song led by Roshan Cordero and team, setting a serene tone for the day.

Lolita warmly welcomed the gathering and introduced the esteemed resource persons, Vandana S Nayak and Alpa Shah. Fr Johnson L Sequeira, principal, addressed the gathering, emphasising the importance of stress management in today's fast-paced world. As a token of respect, he presented a momento to the resource persons.

The programme took a symbolic start with the lighting of the lamp, signifying the illumination of knowledge and wisdom. The resource persons delivered an engaging and interactive session, incorporating activity-based learning, discussions, and communicative methods. Teachers actively participated in various activities, gaining valuable insights and strategies to manage stress.

The session was replete with various activities that kept the teachers energy level high and provided an insight into the ways and means to manage stress effectively. The programme concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks delivered by Linette Pereira, expressing gratitude to the resource persons, the organising team, and participants.
