Dubai, June 24: Gulf nations including Qatar, Bahrain, and Kuwait have reopened their airspace following a brief closure on June 23, implemented as a precaution after Iran launched strikes targeting a US base in Qatar.

Dubai Airports also confirmed that flight operations have resumed at full capacity after a temporary suspension. The halt in operations came amid heightened tensions following Iranian retaliation for recent US strikes on Iranian targets.

“While Dubai Airports is working closely with airlines to maintain approved schedules, some delays or cancellations may still occur. Passengers are advised to check with their airlines for the latest updates,” the Dubai Media Office stated.

The coordinated airspace closures across the Gulf region were aimed at ensuring the safety of passengers and flight crews during a period of elevated regional risk. Aviation authorities have reiterated that passenger safety remains the top priority.

The swift reopening of airspace signals a cautious return to normalcy, as Gulf states balance connectivity with heightened security vigilance.
