Youth kidnapped, sexually assaulted; One arrested, hunt on for three others

Mumbai, Jul 11: In a deeply disturbing incident that has rocked South Mumbai, a 19-year-old youth was allegedly kidnapped, brutally assaulted, and sexually abused by a group of men. The Mumbai Police have arrested one accused in connection with the case, while three others remain absconding.

The victim, a resident of South Mumbai, was reportedly abducted along with a friend from Parbhani. Both were forcibly taken in a four-wheeler from Pune to Mumbai and held captive inside an office located on Kalbadevi Road in Bhuleshwar, police said.

According to the complaint filed, the accused — identified as Dheeraj (25), Bharat (21), and Panjubhai Goswami (45) — assaulted the victims with rods, targeting their hands and legs. The ordeal took a horrifying turn when the accused allegedly forced the duo to strip and perform oral sex on each other, all while recording the entire act on video.

The main accused arrested in the case has been identified as Gautam Dilip Goswami alias Hrithik (25). Mumbai Police have launched a manhunt for the remaining trio who are still on the run.

Senior officials have confirmed that a case has been registered and investigations are underway. The shocking nature of the crime has sparked outrage among citizens and rights activists, who are calling for swift justice and strict punishment for the accused.
