Bantwal: Missing businessman traced at Mantralaya, brought home safely

Bantwal, Sep 28: A businessman who had gone missing after leaving his mobile phone at home was traced at Mantralaya temple and later brought back home safely by the police.

The missing person has been identified as Sadananda (50), a resident of Kanduru in Sajipa Mood, Bantwal taluk. He owns S K Suvarna Sounds & Lighting shop at Kanduru.

On September 16 at around 4.30 pm, Sadananda left his mobile phone in a tempo near his house and went away without informing anyone. His wife Rohini later filed a complaint at Bantwal town police station.

While investigating, the police team noticed a message on his phone regarding a government bus ticket booking. Following this lead, they found that Sadananda had travelled to Mantralaya.

According to police, Sadananda had expressed his wish at home to visit Mantralaya, but as his family members were unwilling, he went there on his own. He has since returned home safely.
