Multiple road accidents in Sullia leave several injured

Sullia, Sep 29: A series of road accidents occurred in and around Sullia on Sunday, leaving several people injured.

In the first incident near Panjigundi on the Mani–Mysuru National Highway, a Boleno car traveling from Sullia towards Mangaluru collided head-on with an Alto car coming from Puttur towards Guttigaru. The accident left three people injured, including the Boleno car driver and two passengers in the Alto. All were admitted to Sullia Hospital for treatment.

In a separate accident near Vishnu Circle in Sullia, an Innova car from Bengaluru and a jeep from the Uberadka region collided. Both vehicles were damaged, but the passengers narrowly escaped serious injuries.

In another incident near the KSRTC bus stand in Sullia, a woman crossing the road was hit by a scooter coming from the right side. Both the woman and the scooter rider sustained minor injuries.

All the injured were provided medical attention at nearby healthcare facilities. The local police have registered the cases and are investigating the circumstances of the accidents.
