Students unleash creativity in PPT design workshop at MPM GFGC Karkala

Karkala, Oct 16: The Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) and R&D Cell of Manjunatha Pai Memorial Government First Grade College of Professional and Business Management, Karkala, organised a workshop on designing creative PPT presentation on October 15 at the MCom Lecture Hall. The session was conducted by Sahana S and Sameeksha, founders of Duo Desk Creatives, Karkala.

The resource persons provided valuable insights on enhancing presentation design through innovative layouts, visual storytelling, and effective use of colour and typography. The workshop aimed to help students create professional and engaging PowerPoint presentations using CANVA which are most suitable for academic and professional contexts. A total of 46 participants actively engaged in the hands-on session, learning various design techniques and presentation tools.

The programme was presided over by Dr Suresh Rai K, principal of the college. The coordinator of R&D Cell, Dr Avinash welcomed the gathering, Vijetha Kamath (MCom-final) proposed a vote of thanks, and Thejaswini Thanthri (MCom-final) efficiently compered the programme. The IQAC coordinator, Vinay M S and the faculty of PG department, Divyashree were also present.
