Karkala: Activity-based life skills session energises post-graduate students at MPM

Karkala, Oct 18: The Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) and the Department of PG Studies in Commerce of MPM GFGC Karkala organised a Life Skills Training Programme for postgraduate students on October 18, at the college auditorium.

Seema Prabhu S, HoD, Department of Business Administration, Canara College, Mangaluru, and NSS nodal officer, Dakshina Kannada, served as the resource person. She engaged students in a highly interactive session that included a series of activities and fun games designed to enhance essential life skills such as communication, teamwork, decision making and emotional intelligence.

The formal programme was presided over by principal Dr Suresh Rai K.

The gathering was welcomed by Dr Avinash, PG coordinator. Nikitha (M.Com – Previous) compered the programme, while Soujanya (M.Com – Previous) proposed the vote of thanks. Technical support for the event was efficiently managed by Vinay Naik and team (M.Com – Final).

The IQAC coordinator of the college, Vinay M S was also present during the formal inaugural.

The session proved both engaging and insightful, helping the participating 41 students gain valuable perspectives on managing personal and professional challenges effectively.
