Udupi, Nov 3: The prize distribution ceremony for the ‘Yashodha Krishna’ and ‘Benne Krishna’ photo contest, organized by Daijiworld Udupi in collaboration with Kishoo Enterprises, took place at St Mary's English Medium School, Kannarpady, auditorium on Sunday November 2.
The contest, held in celebration of Sri Krishna Janmastami, featured two categories: Yashodha Krishna (0-2 years) and Benne Krishna (2-6 years).
Winners of the first, second, and third prizes received cash awards of Rs 5,000, Rs 3,000, and Rs 2,000, respectively, along with a trophy and certificate for each category. Consolation prize winners were awarded Rs 1,000 each, along with a trophy and certificate.
Ace anchor Alwyn Andrade served as the anchor for the ceremony.
The event was attended by Sudhir Shetty, president Credai Udupi, and managing director Kirthi Constructions; Kishore Gonsalves, managing director of Kishoo Enterprises; Kevin Rodrigues, manager Daijiworld Udupi studio and other staff members.
Sudhir Shetty, Yashwanth M G, Golden Book of World Record holder singer; Dolphy Mascarenhas, proprietor Hot Chix restaurant; Manjunath Kamath, social media influencer; Arun Havanje, musician; Raksha, team lead Darpana dance crew; Kishore Gonsalves, Kevin Rodrigues, and Neha, accountant Daijiworld Udupi distributed the prizes to the winners.
"Sri Krishna Janmasthami is a very special occasion at the houses of small children. For us parents it is a great occasion to see our kids dressed as Sri Krishna. Last year we had won consolation prize, this year we have won second place. I thank Daijiworld Udupi for organizing this competition and supporting children" said Shwetha, mother of Ishanvi, a winner of Benne Krishna photo contest.
"My daughter has won first place in the Benne Krishna photo contest, I thank Daijiworld Udupi, Kishoo Enterprises for giving such a great platform for young talents. These small steps makes the children achieve more in their life journey" said Vinod, father of Mithali, first prize winner in Benne Krishna category.
"I am congratulate Daijiworld Udupi and Kishoo Enterprises for organizing this amazing photo contest. We have won first place in the 'Yashodha Krishna' category. I wish to see more such competitions organized by Daijiworld Udupi in upcoming days too", said Prajna Shetty, parent.
