New Delhi, Nov 11: Union home minister Amit Shah on Tuesday convened a high-level meeting with top security officials to review the investigation into the Red Fort Metro Station blast and directed agencies to track down every person involved. Sharing details on X, Shah stated, “Chaired review meetings on the Delhi car blast with the senior officials. Instructed them to hunt down each and every culprit behind this incident. Everyone involved in this act will face the full wrath of our agencies.”
Earlier in the day, Shah received a briefing from security agencies on ongoing multi-state searches and investigation efforts. He emphasized Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s determination to ensure the perpetrators are brought to justice.

The meeting included union home secretary Govind Mohan, Intelligence Bureau Director Tapan Kumar Deka, Delhi Police Commissioner Satish Golcha, and NIA Director General Sadanand Vasant Date, with J&K DGP Nalin Prabhat joining virtually. Over 500 security personnel are involved in the probe, with NSG commandos deployed at key locations across Delhi-NCR.
Agencies are analyzing more than 1,000 CCTV clips and collecting mobile phone data from the Red Fort area to track communications linked to the car blast, which is suspected to have been a suicide attack. Social media activity is also being closely monitored. HM Shah directed the NIA, IB, and Delhi Police Special Cell to coordinate fully, asserting, “No stone will be left unturned.”
Security has been heightened in Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, and Mumbai, especially around crowded public spaces and religious sites. The blast occurred Monday evening near Gate No.1 of the Red Fort Metro Station, killing at least eight people and injuring dozens.
Prime Minister Modi, speaking from Bhutan, expressed condolences to the victims’ families and reaffirmed that Indian agencies will leave no lead uninvestigated. “The conspirators behind this will not be spared. All those responsible will be brought to justice,” he said.
Meanwhile, BJP leaders criticized the opposition for allegedly politicizing the attack. Amit Malviya, head of the BJP’s National IT Department, accused Congress and allied groups of undermining national interests, stating they “simply do not know how to stand with the country in times of need.”
