Mangaluru: Golden girl Jesnia Correa strikes gold again at CBSE national skating championship 2025

Mangaluru, Nov 18: Mount Carmel Central School, Mangaluru, is celebrating the stellar achievement of Grade IX student Jesnia Correa, who has once again clinched a gold medal at the CBSE National Skating Championship 2025.

Jesnia delivered a commanding performance in the 500m rink race (Under-17 category) at HSV Global School, Gurgaon, Haryana, held from November 10 to 15. Her speed, precision, and focus placed her far ahead of her competitors, earning her the top honour and bringing pride to her school, parents, and coaches.

This victory adds another milestone to Jesnia’s growing list of accomplishments. Having excelled across district, state, and national levels, she continues to demonstrate exceptional talent and discipline, inspiring young sportspersons across the region.

Jesnia, daughter of Jerome and Pritha Correa of Bejai, trains at the Hi Flyers Skating Club, Skate City, Ashoknagar, under the guidance of coaches Mohan, Prateek Raja, Ramanand, and Kumar.

The management, principal, and staff of Mount Carmel Central School congratulated Jesnia on her outstanding performance and extended their best wishes for her future endeavours.
