Mangalore: Lecture on 'Medical World and Rehabilitation' Held at Father Muller's

Mangalore, Feb 18: A lecture on the medical world and rehabilitation was held in Decennial Memory Hall of Father Muller's College recently. The guest speaker for the day was Major general (retd) Ian Cardozo, AVSM, SM, chairman RCI, government of India.

The programme started with the lighting of the lamp by the dignitaries. Fr Dennis D’sa welcomed the gathering. This was followed by the much awaited talk by Major general (retd) IanCardozo. He spoke about the importance of having focus in life and change can be brought in our country by the younger generation. He motivated the audience to be better individuals and serve the country. He spoke about the functioning of the RCI and narrated interesting events from his military life. The talk was followed by an interactive session.

Fr Patrick Rodrigues, director, FMCI , Fr Dennis D’sa , Administrator, FMMC, and Dr J P Alva, Dean FMMC were the dignitaries present on the dais.

Fr Patrick Rodrigues presided over the function and Dr J P Alva delivered the vote of thanks.

All BPT, MPT students, BASLP students HODs, staff, PGs of ENT, Orthopedics department and MBBS batches of 2009 and 2008 attended the meeting. Janet and Samantha compered the programme.
