Mangaluru, Nov 30: St Agnes School observed Constitution Day with great reverence and patriotic spirit, highlighting the values and principles that form the foundation of the nation. The programme was thoughtfully organised to create awareness among the students about the significance of the Indian Constitution.

The event began with a prayer service, gracefully conducted by the students. It included heartfelt intentions and meaningful scripture readings, invoking God’s blessings for unity, justice, and peace in the country.

To deepen the understanding of the occasion, Nida Naaz presented the importance and significance of Constitution Day, explaining how this document serves as the guiding framework of democracy and outlines the rights and duties of every citizen.

The atmosphere was elevated by the students’ melodious rendition of the Constitution Song, which resonated with patriotic emotion and respect for the nation. This was followed by the recitation of the Preamble, powerfully led by the head girl, reaffirming the core ideals of justice, liberty, equality, and fraternity.

Later, Sr Maria Sarika, the principal, addressed the gathering and shared a few inspiring words. She emphasized the need for students to understand, value, and uphold constitutional principles in their daily lives.

The programme concluded with the National Anthem, sung with pride and unity by all present.

The Constitution Day celebration at St Agnes School successfully instilled a deeper respect for the nation’s guiding principles and reminded the students of their role as responsible citizens of India.
