Mumbai, Dec 30: Former Delhi chief minister Atishi unveiled the Aam Aadmi Party’s Mumbai manifesto, titled ‘Kejriwalchi Guarantee’, promising world-class education, healthcare, and other citizen-focused reforms. The manifesto, inspired by AAP’s governance models in Delhi and Punjab, aims to address years of perceived neglect and corruption in the city.
Atishi highlighted the contrast between Mumbai’s wealth and its current challenges, calling the city “ugly, dirty, and unsafe” due to poor urban management. She emphasized that established parties have failed Mumbaikars by prioritizing greed over public interest and pointed to the lack of primary healthcare infrastructure in the city. The manifesto pledges free, high-quality education, healthcare, and electricity, presenting a concrete plan to restore Mumbai’s dignity and potential. Atishi urged citizens to vote for the “greater good” and support a clean sweep for AAP.

Preeti Sharma Menon, Mumbai president of the party, criticized the current fragmented alliances, saying voters are often confused by shifting party partnerships across different municipal elections. She added that AAP’s campaign focuses on “Kaam Ki Rajneeti,” offering opportunities to young, educated individuals with a track record of public service.
The launch positions the AAP as a reform-driven alternative in the upcoming Mumbai elections, promising tangible improvements in governance and civic services.
