Udupi: Youth dies on spot after bike skids near Manipal

Udupi, Jan 10: A tragic road accident claimed the life of a youth after his motorcycle skidded near Sudha Furniture at Lakshmindranagar while he was travelling from Udupi towards Manipal on Saturday.

The deceased has been identified as Praveen Shetty (36), a resident of Budnar, Indiranagar. Praveen was engaged in real estate and several other business ventures.

The bike reportedly went out of control and skidded, resulting in fatal injuries. He died on the spot due to the impact.

Praveen had got married about one and a half years ago. He was known among friends and acquaintances as a soft-spoken and friendly person.

    Very sad.Bike helps to move independently but sometimes it can also a weapon to the end.God knows what happened.oil on road or tyres were old and skid?Heartfelt sympathies to family.May his soul rest in peace.In winter when road is cold ,can happen it skids easily.
