Mangaluru, Feb 23: The diocese of Mangalore, through the Charismatic Service Communion in association with the Diocesan Biblical Commission, is set to organise a grand four-day ‘Mega Bible Convention 2026’ at the Holy Cross Church grounds, Cordel, Kulshekar. The spiritual event will take place from February 26 to March 1, between 4:00 pm and 8:30 pm daily.
Addressing the press at Bishop’s House, Kodialbail on Monday, February 23, the Bishop of Mangalore, along with Diocesan PRO Rev Dr JB Saldanha, announced that the convention is inspired by the theme chosen by Holy Father Pope Leo XIV for the 'Word of God Sunday 2026': “The Word of Christ dwells among you” (Col 3:16).

The primary objective of the gathering is to celebrate the transformative power of the Scriptures and to help the faithful experience the divine presence in their daily lives. Rev Dr JB Saldanha emphasised that the convention serves as a "Feast of the Bible," aimed at providing spiritual strength and helping the faithful shape lives pleasing to the Almighty.
