Allu Sirish begins wedding festivities with Pelli Koduku ceremony

Hyderabad, Mar 2: Actor Allu Sirish, brother of superstar Allu Arjun, is set to marry his fiancée Nayanika Reddy on March 6. Ahead of the wedding, pre-wedding celebrations commenced with a traditional Pelli Koduku ceremony attended by close family members and film industry friends.

he intimate function saw the presence of several celebrities including newlyweds Rashmika Mandanna and Vijay Deverakonda, Rishab Shetty, and Ram Charan along with Upasana Konidela.

Allu Sirish shared a video from the ceremony on Instagram, capturing heartwarming moments from the celebration. Pictures from the event have also gone viral on social media.

The ceremony began with the traditional mangala snanam, where the groom-to-be was bathed and blessed with turmeric and sandalwood paste, symbolising purification and the transition into married life. Women from the extended family later offered gifts and blessings to Sirish.

For the ritual, Sirish wore a cream kurta-pyjama paired with a Nehru jacket, while Allu Arjun opted for a red kurta-pyjama and glasses. His wife Sneha Reddy looked elegant in an orange saree. Producer Allu Aravind was also seen warmly welcoming guests.

Rashmika Mandanna and Vijay Deverakonda, who tied the knot on February 26, greeted the Allu family and posed for group photographs. Pictures of Vijay hugging Allu Arjun and the couple standing together drew enthusiastic reactions from fans online.

Pelli Koduku is a sacred pre-wedding custom observed on the groom’s side in Andhra weddings, marking the formal beginning of wedding celebrations.

Allu Sirish and Nayanika Reddy, who have reportedly been dating for around two years, will tie the knot on March 6 — notably the same date as Allu Arjun and Sneha Reddy’s wedding anniversary.
