Mumbai, Mar 3: Ram Charan is back in full swing with his latest song “Rai Rai Raa Raa” from the highly anticipated film Peddi, bringing the same electrifying energy and flawless dance skills that made the hook step of RRR’s “Naatu Naatu” a global sensation.

The song, composed and sung by A.R. Rahman, features Ram Charan in a rugged avatar — long hair, thick beard, and a nose ring — set against a factory backdrop. The lyrics by Anantha Sriram give fans a glimpse into the character he portrays in the film.

The video also includes a behind-the-scenes segment showcasing the elaborate choreography involving a large number of background dancers and the meticulous efforts of the crew. Fans even get a brief peek at Rahman grooving in the studio while lending his voice to the track.

Earlier, the film’s first single, “Chikiri Chikiri”, created a major buzz, already crossing 200 million views on YouTube. For Peddi, Ram Charan underwent a significant physical transformation to fit his role.

Directed by Buchi Babu Sana, Peddi stars Ram Charan alongside Shiva Rajkumar, Janhvi Kapoor, Divyendu Sharma, Jagapathi Babu, and Boman Irani, marking a strong ensemble cast. Produced by Venkata Satish Kilaru under Vriddhi Cinemas, in collaboration with Mythri Movie Makers, the film is slated for release on April 30, 2026.

The success of Peddi carries extra significance for Ram Charan, whose previous film Game Changer fell short of box office expectations, collecting Rs 195 crore worldwide against a Rs 350 crore budget. With “Rai Rai Raa Raa,” fans are hopeful for another hit showcasing the superstar’s unmatched charisma and dance prowess.
