Jerusalem, Mar 18: Benjamin Netanyahu has dismissed viral conspiracy theories about his death by appearing in a fresh video alongside Mike Huckabee, amid ongoing tensions with Iran.
The video, released on Tuesday, shows Netanyahu walking and speaking with Huckabee, who jokingly remarked that Donald Trump had asked him to personally check if the Israeli leader was safe. Netanyahu responded, “Yes, I’m alive,” putting to rest speculation that had been circulating online for days.
The rumours had intensified due to his limited public appearances and misleading social media posts, including claims that a previous video showed him with “six fingers,” sparking allegations of AI manipulation.

In the latest clip, Netanyahu also referred to ongoing Israeli strikes targeting senior Iranian figures, including Ali Larijani and Gholamreza Soleimani, stating that key targets had been eliminated and more actions could follow.
Huckabee responded in a lighter vein, expressing relief that his name was not on any such “list,” while Netanyahu praised US support and reiterated Israel’s stance against Iran’s alleged nuclear ambitions.
Earlier, Netanyahu had posted another video on social media platform X from a café, humorously addressing the rumours by saying he was “dead… for coffee,” while showing his hands to counter claims about altered imagery.
The conspiracy theories gained traction online amid heightened conflict in West Asia, following Iran’s retaliation to joint US-Israel actions, which escalated regional tensions.
