Tehran, Mar 30: Amid the escalating conflict in the Middle East, Iranian state media has released a new AI-generated video portraying what it claims to be a “fresh wave of missile strikes,” signalling heightened tensions in the ongoing confrontation involving Iran, the United States, and Israel.
The video, released by Mehr News Agency, features a stylised sequence beginning with a simulated military command meeting led by Supreme Commander-in-Chief Mojtaba Khamenei. It goes on to depict missile launches, explosions in urban areas, and visuals suggesting Iranian forces advancing towards the Al-Aqsa Mosque in Jerusalem’s Old City.

Observers note that the clip appears designed to project Iran’s military readiness and shape public perception as hostilities continue.
This release follows a similar AI-generated video circulated last week titled “One Vengeance For All,” attributed to state broadcaster Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting. The video portrayed a timeline of US-linked conflicts, including Hiroshima, Vietnam, Iraq, and Gaza, culminating in a missile striking a distorted image of the Statue of Liberty.
On the ground, tensions continue to intensify. Iran’s joint military command has warned that private residences of US and Israeli officials in the region could be treated as legitimate targets, significantly expanding the scope of the conflict.
The war, which began with strikes by the United States and Israel on Iran, has since escalated with retaliatory attacks across the region, including Gulf Arab states. The conflict has reportedly claimed over 3,000 lives so far.
The fallout is also impacting global markets. Disruptions in oil, natural gas, and fertiliser supplies have been reported, while concerns persist over shipping routes through the Strait of Hormuz and the Bab el-Mandeb Strait, both critical to global trade.
Meanwhile, Iran has warned of further escalation following Israeli airstrikes on universities it alleges are linked to nuclear development.
US President Donald Trump has also added to the tensions by suggesting that Washington could seize Iran’s key oil export hub at Kharg Island. Reports indicate that around 10,000 US troops trained for land operations are being deployed to the region, including personnel from the 82nd Airborne Division and US Marines, as preparations intensify for a possible expansion of military operations.
