New Delhi, May 28: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has begun extensive preparations to celebrate the completion of 12 years of the Narendra Modi-led government at the Centre and two years of Modi Government 3.0.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi first assumed office on May 26, 2014, completing 12 years as Prime Minister this year. He began his third consecutive term on June 10, marking the start of Modi Government 3.0.

As part of the celebrations, the BJP will organise nationwide outreach programmes highlighting the achievements of the Modi government over the past 12 years and its vision of building a “Viksit Bharat” by 2047.
Union Ministers, along with Chief Ministers and Deputy Chief Ministers from NDA-ruled states, are expected to participate in various public programmes across the country.
The party also plans to conduct seminars, press conferences and interactions with eminent personalities from different sectors to showcase the government’s work and future roadmap.
A major meeting of Chief Ministers and Deputy Chief Ministers from NDA-ruled states is likely to be held in New Delhi on June 10.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Home Minister Amit Shah, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, BJP president Nitin Navin, senior Union Ministers and leaders of NDA allies are expected to attend the meeting.
Sources said a resolution expressing gratitude to the Modi government for its achievements over the last 12 years may also be passed during the gathering.
Ahead of the celebrations, BJP president Nitin Navin chaired a virtual meeting with Chief Ministers and Deputy Chief Ministers of BJP-ruled states, party general secretaries and state BJP presidents to review preparations for the nationwide campaign.
The celebrations are expected to formally commence with a press conference by BJP president Nitin Navin at the party headquarters in New Delhi.
