Mangaluru, May 30: In a heartwarming act of humanity, the driver and conductor of a city bus came to the aid of an injured mother and child by taking them directly to a hospital after they fell from another bus in Mangaluru on Friday.

The incident involved Master bus driver Dayanand and conductor Sandeep, who were travelling on Route No. 13B from Kavoor to Kunjathbail.

Near Marakada Junction, a mother and her child reportedly fell from a bus travelling in the opposite direction. As the two remained unresponsive after the fall, the situation caused panic among onlookers.

Noticing the incident, Dayanand and Sandeep immediately stopped their bus and rushed to assist the injured mother and child. After consoling them and assessing the situation, they asked the passengers to alight from the bus and then transported the injured duo directly to a hospital in the same bus for immediate medical attention.

Their timely intervention and compassionate response have been widely appreciated by the public.

Many orders given by many Deputy Commissioners to provide doors to the buses with dead lines were not followed. Instead they were transferred. This is our fate.

Mother and child fell from another bus.!!!! Injured and un responsive!! Busses are mandated to have operational doors. So how come Mother and child fell down. Where is the accountability??? Tomorrow it could be you your son and daughter who fall from a bus without a functioning door. The basic fact remains DO THE SAME THING GET THE SAME RESULT. There have been countless identical incidents. We have not learnt to love and value our near and dear ones. Our leaders don't care of our safety.. Great humanity shown by the driver and conductor of the other bus..
