Sullia: Police arrest three, including woman’s in-laws, in death case

Sullia, July 22: Sullia police have arrested three persons, including the deceased woman’s in-laws, in connection with a case registered at the Sullia police station under Crime No. 100/2026, invoking Sections 85, 103(1) read with 3(5) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS), 2023.

The arrested persons have been identified as the deceased woman’s uncle-in-law C P Alavi (54), aunt-in-law Ayesha C A, and sister-in-law Fasilah C A (29).

According to police, the three accused were arrested on Wednesday, July 22, and are currently being questioned in connection with the case.

The accused will be produced before the competent court after completion of the necessary legal procedures, police said.
