Mangaluru: Pedestrian injured after auto-rickshaw hits him at Thokkottu Junction

Mangaluru, Sep 2: A pedestrian was injured after an auto-rickshaw hit him at Thokkottu Junction here on Tuesday. The auto-rickshaw also overturned following the collision.

The injured pedestrian has been identified as Chandrashekar (62), a resident of Kapikad. He was shifted to a hospital in Deralakatte for treatment, sources said.

The auto-rickshaw driver also suffered minor injuries after the vehicle overturned.

A case has been registered at the Mangaluru South Traffic police station.
