Brahmavar, Sep 4: The Rotary Club Brahmavar has secured an impressive 28 awards at the prestigious Rotary District 3182 district awards for 2025-26, emerging as the third-best club in the Large Club category.
The club was recognised for its outstanding performance across various avenues of service, receiving top honours and special recognition in more than 24 service categories.
Among the major achievements, the club received the Best Club Under All Avenues of Service award for its overall performance across different service sectors.
In the areas of youth empowerment and education, the club was honoured with the Education Award for its contribution to the education sector and the Best Youth Service Club recognition for its initiatives aimed at empowering and supporting young people.
The club also received special recognition for its work in Women Empowerment and Community Economic Development, acknowledging its efforts towards women’s empowerment and community development.
In the field of health and environmental protection, the club was recognised for its environmental conservation initiative ‘Hasiru Usiru’ and its ‘Road Traffic Safety’ campaign. It also received recognition for its significant contribution to Disease Prevention and Treatment.
The club’s efforts towards promoting International Understanding and professional excellence were also acknowledged with awards in the respective categories, including the Vocational Award.
The Rotary Club Brahmavar further received recognition in Membership Development and Rotary Fellowship, highlighting its efforts to strengthen membership and promote camaraderie among members.
District governor Rtn K Palaksha, assistant governor Rtn Anand Shetty, and District Awards Committee chairman Rtn Devanand, among others, congratulated the Rotary Club Brahmavar for its remarkable achievement.
Club president Rtn Satish Shetty and secretary Rtn Rexon Roy Monis, along with other office-bearers and members of Rotary Club Brahmavar, received the awards on behalf of the club.
