Dubai, Oct 23: Dubai Bearys 24/7, an organisation dedicated to the welfare of non-resident Indians (NRIs) in the UAE, has announced a significant initiative aimed at providing financial security to the families of expatriates from Karnataka's Muslim community.
The announcement was made during 'Changayipad', a get-together organised for leaders, representatives, and social workers of various Beary community organisations in the UAE, held at a resort in Umm Al Quwain on Sunday.

Speaking on the occasion, Hidayath Addoor of Dubai Bearys 24/7 stated that an ambitious scheme has been formulated to safeguard the future of thousands of expats who work tirelessly in the UAE to support their families back home.
"Under the leadership of our executive committee, a trust will be established in Mangaluru. Through this trust, we will provide financial assistance to the families of expatriate Kannadiga Muslims residing in the UAE in the event of an earning member's demise. We are working to officially launch this scheme within the next three months," Hidayath said.
Mustaq Kadri added that the scheme would serve as a massive pillar of support for the community. Details regarding membership procedures and the complete operational framework of the scheme will be announced shortly, he noted.
