Mumbai, Apr 26 (IANS): Actor Ranvir Shorey says his wife Konkona Sen Sharma, who took a sabbatical after their son Haroon's birth, is back under arclights.
The actress, who was last seen in a cameo in 2001 release "7 Khoon Maaf", will be seen in Anant Mahadevan's "Gaur Hari Dastaan". She plays Odisha's freedom fighter Gaur Hari Das' wife in it.
"She is going to come out full guns blazing. That part we played quite well. I took six months off, she took two years off. Haroon came to the sets of 'Gaur Hari Dastaan' when he was less than a year," said Ranvir, who is making a special appearance in the film.
Ranvir and Konkona tied the knot in September 2010 and had a son in 2011.
"Haroon's birth really had a profound effect on me and I think it had on Konkona also. It is fabulous, it is the best thing that has happened to me. Such a beautiful feeling I can't tell you," Ranvir said.
"It's a beautiful experience. My mother passed away about eight-nine years ago and she always used to be after me to get married. I used to be like, 'No, not now.' And now when I have a family, I realise what she meant," he added.
