London, Apr 30 (IANS): Actor Ray Winstone worked for free in the movie "Elfie Hopkins" after his daughter Jaime asked him to make an appearance.

The film is about an aspiring teen detective who finds herself caught up in a grisly case and the 55-year-old plays the role of a Butcher Bryn in the film.

"I don't think we could quite afford my dad. I think it was really lovely for him to be involved and it was a real honour to act with someone like him," Jamie told thesun.co.uk.
