Sunny Deol didn't need my Help: Ravi Kishan

Mumbai, May 14 (IANS): Bhojpuri superstar Ravi Kishan, who shares screen space with Sunny Deol in "Mohalla Assi", set on the ghats of Varanasi, says a star like Sunny didn't need his help to learn the local language of Benaras.

"Sunny paaji is my senior. I call him sir. I can't train anyone. Artists train themselves when the need arises. I did not train him. He (Sunny) knew the language and caught the lingo," the 40-year-old said here.

Sunny, last seen in "Yamla Pagla Deewana", plays an orthodox Hindu priest and a Sanskrit teacher in the film.

"Chandra Prakash Dwivedi (director) had told him everything in detail. Sunny-ji will surprise you in the film," he added, about the movie, which features TV star Sakshi Tanwar as Sunny's wife.

Meanwhile, Ravi, who is a known name in B-town too, has a host of films lined up, including a Yash Raj Films (YRF) project.

"There was 'Dangerous Ishq' and now there is 'Zila Ghaziabad.' Then there is 'Mohalli Assi', 'Jeena Hai Toh Thok Daal.' There is also a Yash Raj film that has just started. (It is called) 'Mere Daddy Ki Maruti'," said Ravi, last seen in "Agent Vinod".

"Bollywood has continuously given me a lot of love and respect. After 20 years of determination, Bollywood has embraced me, I am very happy," he added.
