Mumbai: ‘Thiya Belaku’, Monthly Newsletter by Thiya Samaj Released

Mumbai, Oct 18: ‘Thiya Belaku’ a monthly newsletter by Thiya Samaj was released at the central office of Thiya Samaj in Ghatkopar (East) here on Sunday October 14.

The programme was presided by Chandrashekar R Belchada and Rons Bantwal released the newsletter.

‘Thiya Jyothi’ newsletter was transformed to ‘Thiya Belaku’ and the first copy was released on the occasion.

Speaking on the occasion, Rons Bantwal, honorary chief secretary of Kannadiga Patrakarthara Sangha said that people have low feelings when it comes to journalism. Hence journalist should come out of this wrong thinking of people. There should be transformation among the journalists by leaving aside the old practice, he said.

Bantwal said that the readers have much knowledge than the journalist in the present times.

He lauded Thiya Samaj for its publication and wished success.

Jayaraj P Salian from Arathi Printers, the publisher of the newsletter was the guest of honor.

Sreedar S Suvarna, chief editor welcomed the gathering, Babu Belchada, sub editor compered and delivered vote of thanks.

Babu Ile, honorary secretary, Ramesh N Ullal, honorary treasurer, Narayan C Salian, Chandra Suvarna, working president of women’s wing, Appunji Bangera, Ujwal Chandrashekar, Sachin Ullal, former youth head, Ravindra S Manjeshwar, Sudhakar Ucchila, Vishwanath U K, Padmanab Suvarna, Sujatha B Belchada and other office bearers were present.
