Kundapur: Adiga murder – judicial custody for three accused

Kundapur, Feb 1: Relating to the murder of social worker and RTI activist, Vasudeva Adiga, the term of the judicial custody of three of the accused was extended by the court till February 7.

The policemen had, on Thursday January 30, moved an application in the court, seeking police custody for all the seven accused. Accordingly, all the seven were produced in the court. As per the earlier orders of the court, accused, Umesh, Raghavendra and Navin had been entrusted to judicial custody till January 31, while main accused, Ramesh Bairy, Subrahmanya Udupa, and Ravichandra, were remanded to judicial custody till February 1.

 It is gathered that the policemen, who got police custody of three of the accused, could gather further details on the gruesome murder from them during interrogation.
