Cheryl gets written apology from magazine

Los Angeles, Feb 20 (IANS): A magazine has addressed a written apology to singer Cheryl Cole on its front page.

Now magazine was the first to prompt rumours of Cheryl's romance with rapper MC Harvey last year. Its story led to a Twitter fight between Cheryl and MC.

However, the magazine has now apologised, saying: "Sorry Cheryl. There was no romance with Harvey - we got it wrong. Although we have seen several hundred emails, written over a six-month period, apparently between Cheryl, her mother and Michael, we are now satisfied that emails from Cheryl and her mother are not genuine."

Cheryl, who is currently dating dancer Tre Holloway, expressed her satisfaction over the apology through Twitter.

"Now magazine expensive lies mugged off... Here you go, apology and I am now satisfied that you are f***ing liars," she tweeted Tuesday.
